Dawna is a graduate of Loma Linda University in California. She is a registered nurse with a Master's degree in Public Health Education. Her professional career has included working as a health educator in hospitals, colleges, a public health department and school of evangelism. Most of her professional career has been in serving as a volunteer, often in behalf of her church both locally and internationally. At home she has served as a church outreach and health leader organizing and teaching a variety of health seminars for both adults and children.
Current special interests include:
- Biblical health principles and science
- International health evangelism
- Teaching at evangelism training schools
- Serving on a variety of boards and committees
- Writing health education materials
- Country living with her husband and dog
- Frequent fun and games with 3 grandchildren
- Rescuing earthworms from rain puddles (only if I take my daily walk when it's raining)
